On Tuesday morning, we drove west of Vegas for about 30 minutes to Red Rock Canyon. It was sunny and the perfect temperature for hiking. We spent several hours exploring the rocks, chasing lizards, and seeing some petroglyphs. We had a nice picnic lunch, looked around a little more, then headed back to Vegas in time to see the Nathan Burton magic show at the Flamingo. It was a hilarious show, we all laughed our heads off! We had a nice dinner and walked back to our hotel on the strip...great people watching. The next day, Rich flew to Phoenix for work and the kids and I drove back to a rainy Sandy.
