Football season is nearly over. The Jordan Gray Bantam team, along with coaches Triton, Tony, and Will had a season wrought with injury and illness, but they played tough. The starting QB, Joseph Raty, got a concussion early in the season during a practice, and later was diagnosed with cancer. Several kids had broken fingers, strained achilles tendons, strep throat, and flu bugs. Despite all of that, they did manage to win a couple of games and were close in every single game. They played their hearts out.
Cole had a great season and displayed more confidence... never complaining about the conditioning drills or the multiple bruises covering his body. He played the entire game, in the roles of defensive end and offensive left tackle. As the regular season comes to and end, he, and a few other players in the Bantam league will play in the Borderwarz tournament coming up November 17-19. Great job, Diggers!
