Cole started basketball in November with a group of friends from Eastmont, and a few additions to the team by the league. They had a tough season, but had a great time and played hard. Their coach, Jamal, was the quietest coach I've ever seen. Of course, that meant that it was my duty to yell "rebound", "get back on defense", and "box out" from the sidelines. It is hard to be a mom, coach, and referee at the same time!!
I have scrimmaged with the boys a few times and they asked if I would coach their spring league team. We'll see how that goes... I am excited for the opportunity!
