The spring training facilities for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers is about 5 minutes from Ron's house. Cole and Rich spent many hours in the mornings watching batting practice and getting some baseballs autographed. Rich had a couple "run ins" with some die hard senior citizens who didn't want to share the baseballs! We all went to the KC Royals and Colorado Rockies game on Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful 80 degree afternoon for watching the game! The boys saw another game on Monday. Rich has his retirement plans set now...he plans to volunteer at the spring training facilities while we're enjoying the sunshine of Arizona. I think we'll have to wait a few years...
