Maggie playing Farkle with the familyWe are happy to announce that after about 6 weeks at the Stenseth Home for Wayward Beagles, Maggie has lost over 5 pounds! She loves her walks once or twice a day and feels so much better. She is more playful and happy than when we got her in September.
Bert has adjusted to having another "lady" friend around the house. I'm not sure Abby is ever going to adjust. She is extremely jealous of Maggie. Typical girls! Slowly, but surely, we are all adjusting to having 3 dogs to take care of, more poop to pick up, and more warm cuddles from our furry friends!
"I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands.
When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands;
then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat.
For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes,
but never a friend like that."

Way to go Maggie! Stacey want to work out a "boot camp" for me? Although I need to loose more than 5 pounds:)
