We were lucky to have a visit from Kari, Jackson, and Mara Moore last week! Mike kept the home fires burning in Spokane while we played. It is amazing to me that the kids always pick up right where they left off... the 3 1/2 years apart has not changed their friendship or the fun they all have together. The boys had a ball playing Wii and jumping on the trampoline, and the girls spent hours dressing up and playing with their dolls. Kari & I had fun catching up and laughing about silly things.
We went to the Cottonwood Heights pool the first day, mini golfing and to a concert and autograph signing at the Canyons Resort on Tuesday, to Cowabunga Bay water park on Wednesday, and the Moore family attended the Major League Soccer All Star game here in Sandy that evening. We also had a little party for Morgan and Jackson, as they both have July 31 birthdays. On Thursday, it was time for them to head home, and for everyone to have a nap! We wished they lived closer so we wouldn't have to cram all our fun into 4 days! We are grateful for our amazing friendship with their family! Can't wait until next time...
